Elaine Benes on Seinfeld
Thumbs, little kicks, jerky movements, need I say more? If you are a fan of Seinfeld, I am sure you remember this episode.
Brief show summary: Elaine demonstrated her dance moves at an her office party. George was in attendance since Elaine let him go with her after much persuasion. George's reaction to the dance? "Sweet fancy moses!", he exclaimed. Long story short, Jerry had already known about Elaine's bad dancing, but was hoping it would just go away. Elaine starts to wonder why her employees have lost respect for her. She finally finds out the truth of her bad dancing after she tapes herself. But, it the end, her dance becomes a big hit on the streets of New York.

It has been reported in "Allure" magazine that the dance moves Elaine used in this Seinfeld episode were completely Lorne Michaels own moves. Lornes is the producer of Saturday Night Live. Since Elaine was on SNL for a short time, maybe that is the truth. It is possible Lornes did this wacky dance at an SNL cast party or something! Who knows!
